Most people blame their work boots… But in clinic, we see this all the time 👇 It’s not the boot — it’s the wrong size. You can have the best work boot in the world, but if it doesn’t fit properly, it will irritate your feet and lead to problems. Here’s what we check first: 👣 Length Your boot should be about a thumb width longer than your longest toe 👉 Easy check: pull the insole out and stand on it — your foot should not reach the end 👣 Width & Depth If your boots feel tight around the toe cap, they’re too narrow You need enough width AND depth so your toes aren’t getting crushed 👉 Tight boots = corns, calluses, blisters, toe pain 👣 Fit Options Matter Our ERGONX work boots come in: • 2E (wide) • 4E (extra wide) So you can actually match the boot to your foot 👣 Structure of the Boot Once sizing is right, then we look at: ✔️ Does it bend where your foot bends? ✔️ Does it resist twisting? ✔️ Does it have proper arch support? ✔️ Cushioning (not too soft, not too hard) ✔️ Lace + zip to lock your foot in 👣 How You Wear Them Loose boots = unstable feet 👉 Lace them up properly 👉 Zip them up properly If your boots don’t fit properly, your feet will work harder… And that’s when you start seeing: • Heel pain • Plantar fasciitis • Toe pain • General aches and fatigue If you want boots that actually fit your foot and support it properly 👇 🔗 https://ergonx.com.au #workboots #tradielife #footpain #plantarfasciitis #heelpain
