Which work boots are best for tradies?

Start with the protection your workplace requires. Then compare secure fastening, toe clearance, comfortable arch contact and cushioning for the jobs you do most often. No single model is the best option for every site.

Should I choose lace-up or slip-on work boots?

Helium laces let you adjust the instep; Hydrogen slip-ons use elastic-sided access. A slip-on needs a good heel fit from the start because it cannot be tightened like laces. Compare both with your usual socks.

Can I use the same boots on every job?

Only where the exact model meets each task’s protection requirements. Wet work, electrical hazards, hot work and other specialist exposures can require different footwear.

How do I compare 2E and 4E widths?

Check the options on the exact product and try your normal work socks. Compare forefoot room, instep pressure and heel hold. A wider fit adds width; unnecessary extra length can leave the heel loose.

How can I try the boots before choosing?
